What is SSTIK Facebook Video Downloader?
SSTIK is a free online Facebook video downloader that lets you save public Facebook videos, Reels and Watch clips to your phone or computer as MP4 files. Facebook does not offer a built-in way to keep a copy of most videos on your device — the "Save" button only bookmarks the post inside the app. SSTIK fills that gap: you paste the video link, and within seconds you get a direct download in the best quality Facebook has available.
Everything happens in your browser. There is no app to install, no extension, and no need to log in with your Facebook account. That makes SSTIK a safe and lightweight way to keep recipes, tutorials, workouts, travel clips, news reports or family moments for offline viewing.
How to find the link of a Facebook video
Every download starts with the video's link (URL). Here's where to find it:
- Normal video posts: tap Share under the post, then Copy link.
- Reels: tap the curved Share arrow on the right side of the Reel, then Copy link.
- Facebook Watch: open the video, tap the three dots (⋯) or Share, then Copy link.
- On a computer: click the video's timestamp (for example "2h") to open it on its own page, then copy the address from your browser bar.
Links usually look like facebook.com/watch?v=…, facebook.com/reel/…, facebook.com/share/v/… or fb.watch/…. SSTIK accepts all of these.

How to download Facebook Reels
Facebook Reels are short vertical videos, and they download exactly the same way as normal videos. Open the Reel, tap the share arrow, copy the link and paste it into SSTIK. The Reel is saved as a vertical 9:16 MP4 in the original quality — great for watching later or keeping inspiration for your own content.
Troubleshooting: video won't download?
"Invalid link" or no result
Copy the link again from the Share → Copy link menu instead of copying text from the post. Make sure the whole link was pasted, including https://.
The video is private
Videos shared only with friends, or posted in private groups, are protected by Facebook's privacy settings. Only public videos can be downloaded.
Only SD quality is available
If the creator uploaded a low-resolution video, Facebook doesn't store an HD version, so SD is the best available.
The video plays instead of downloading
Some browsers open MP4 files in a player. Long-press (mobile) or right-click (desktop) the video and choose Download or Save video as.
Live video not working
Wait until the live stream has ended. Facebook needs a few minutes to process the replay before it can be downloaded.
Tips & best practices
- Choose HD for TVs and laptops; choose SD on mobile data to save storage.
- Rename files after downloading so they're easy to find later.
- Use Wi-Fi for long Watch videos — HD files can be several hundred MB.
- Respect creators: download for personal use, and ask permission before re-sharing someone else's video. Always credit the original creator.
Is it safe to use SSTIK?
Yes. SSTIK never asks for your Facebook password, doesn't need any app or extension, and does not store the videos you download. Files are delivered straight from Facebook's own servers to your device. We recommend always downloading from the official address sstik.top.
